The Future Home of

The Worship  Center

On February 28, 2017, The Worship Center became the new owners of the Historical Anglican Christ Church that sits at the intersection of 102nd st and 98th ave.  The building was purchased from the South Peace Historical Resource Restoration Society who originally bought the building in 1982, and in 2008, moved the church to it current location.  After the move, through the help of grants, fundraising and community support,  the society was able to repair the roof and build a basement.

The congregation of The Worship Center is thrilled to carry on and bring the restoration project to completion!  We will bring all our heart and hard work and resources to the table and hope to have the building up to code by the fall of 2017 and ready for occupancy sometime in 2018.

When the building and the grounds are completed, not only will the building be enjoyed as home to our church family, but we are excited to open it up and welcome the community to use and enjoy it as well.

If you are interested in partnering with us in the restoration project, there are many ways you can help!  Join us on a work day and add your skilled or unskilled labor.  All you need is willingness to help.   You can also contact us for a list of building materials and supplies that are needed.  Maybe you have tools or landscaping equipment you are willing to offer, we would gratefully welcome that!   If you are willing to support the project financially, you can donate on our website, www.theworshipcenter.ca  and designate it to the building project.  We are happy to provide tax receipts for donations!
